Valentine’s Day Gross Motor Game – Valentine Delivery RelayThe Valentine’s Day Delivery Cards used in this game are found as part of the Valentine’s Day Brain Breaks and Movement Games variety pack. The pack can be found in the Shop.
Valentine’s Day Relay -How To PlayGet kids into teams of 4-5. Place hearts face down in front of each team. Have at least the same number of cards as students. Optional: Have double the number of cards so students have to do the relay twice!
The first student turns over the heart and performs the action on the heart. The teacher designates at the beginning of the game how many repetitions of each exercise must be performed. (Example designating 10 would mean 10 jumping jacks, arm circles etc.)
Once the child has performed the action they run and deliver their Valentine and return to the back of the line. The next child goes and the relay continues. The first team to have delivered all of their mail wins!
