Valentine’s Day Printables – Flowers Fine Motor

With Valentine’s Day around the corner it’s the perfect theme to add into motor play.  We’ve added it for gross motor and fine motor activities.  One of our favorite fine motor activities was making Valentine’s Day Flowers.  My preschooler liked it so much that he decided he would give the flowers as his Valentine’s Day Gifts and we decided we’d give the Valentine’s Day printables to you!

Valentine’s Day Printables – Flowers Fine Motor

The printables are really simple to use.  You just need to print out your favorite – we are giving you three different designs to choose from.  Once printed, you can either laminate the page if you want to use it over and over again.  If you are looking for one time use, like giving it as a gift like my preschooler then there is no need to laminate.

Now the fun part begins.  Create your flowers!

• Use (affiliate) pipe cleaners or (affiliate)Wiki Stix to form around the flowers.
• Copy the shapes with a crayon or marker (if not laminated)
• Use manipulatives such as buttons or small poms to go around the flowers.

We used glue to get the manipulatives to stay on.  We tried a couple of different colors to trace the flower lines! Use several different mediums to create your flowers or do them all the same.   Either way I’m sure that they will look beautiful. Be sure to draw in stems on your flowers for a more completed look.  This is such a simple and fun Valentine’s Day Fine Motor Activitiy.
