Classroom Brain Breaks With A Soccer Theme

Now that August is rolling in it’s time that many teachers are thinking about getting back in their classrooms, parents are setting routines, and school therapists are getting ready for the new school year.  A huge part of learning is having kids who are ready to learn, which means incorporating lots of movement and physical activity into the day.  Many of us love to use brain breaks to do this.  I’ve found that adding themes to these brain breaks makes them more fun and more engaging for the students.  Brain breaks with a soccer theme is one of my favorite ways to engage the kiddos who love sports, at the World Cup time, or when rooting on your favorite soccer team! These are awesome for classroom brain breaks, physical education, PT, OT, SLP, or to use at home!
